I am a 29 year old who hasn’t left church. 

In fact, I love it.

For 20 years my parents were pastor’s at a smaller, rural church. My parents gained friends, lost friends, and built church for 20 years. At times, it was the greatest — I still have the best friends in the world because of my time as a pastor’s kid. At other times it was brutal — there was some confusion, some anger, some resentment, and some bitterness. If you interviewed my parents about their time pastoring you would probably leave scratching your head wondering why anyone would do that job — but they did it faithfully.  

Despite the fact that I am a young adult, pastor’s kid, with a church experience peppered with seasons of bitterness, there has never been a moment where I thought to myself, “You know what? My faith and life would…
