Note from the Editor/Andrew health update

Andrew asked his editor, P.J. Walk, to write about his recent and completely unforeseen (quite literally) health scare. This happened after cleaning up at game club on Thursday, March 21. He was putting tables away after the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Grand Prix. As he opened the storage room door he fell down an open trap door. The school district he works for hired subcontractors to replace the sewer lines within his school that weekend. One of those contracts left the trap door open, which goes five feet down to a crawl space under the building. Anyway, to sum things up, Andrew really isn’t feeling the best right now and could certainly use all the prayers he could get.

What he has as far as injuries are: a buckle fracture in his knee area, where the bone comes inward. Plus, a bruised right bicep, bruised tendon in his left foot as well as an acute chip fracture in that same foot, strained right foot, and lastly a tweaked SI joint which goes from the bottom of your back to your hip. Other areas of his body hurt as well due to his entire body experiencing something akin to whiplash from the way he fell while hanging on to the door handle. Please keep him in your prayers and reach out to him in any way possible.

If you would like to send him a get well card, you may mail it to:
P.O. Box 525
Glennallen, AK 99588
He is also welcoming visitors while on bed rest for 72 hours. Due to his hand hurting, phone calls are better than texting. He hopes to return to work with limited mobility on Tuesday. He will be on crutches for 2 weeks, and then have his fractures re-examined.

Thanks for reading,

P.J. Walk
